Inner Peace

Inner peace/The state of physical and spiritual calm despite many stressors’/• It can also mean knowing your beliefs and how to act according to those beliefs.

It’s important not to compare or compete, You may eat your seeds trying to be like someone who has reached their harvest. Inner peace starts with you allowing it to happen instead of expecting it to happen.

“It is better to conquer one’s own mind than to win a thousand battles”- Saddartha Gautuma

It can be life-changing to realize that the mind is a very powerful tool and when misused life can be bleak. If you find satisfaction in being a victim and portray it as your identity it can be destructive.

Lack of inner peace could be by difficulties, fears, worries and hurt feelings that increase the mental restlessness.

Overcoming Procrastination

1. Recognize the enemy (What’s stopping you from doing what you have to do to achieve your goals) Don’t let the fear of failure stop you from taking a shot, the reason you fear is because it holds importance.

2. Start doing what you have to do now (Invest your time in it and you’ll definitely see results, sacrifice things like Netflix, youtube, games.etc and get what you have to do done.

3. Be committed in what you do ( make sure it’s consistent and make it your habit to get things done, it has never been easy but it’s not impossible).

4. Start by taking small steps and raise the bar as you go. (don’t go too hard on yourself, allow yourself to adjust to it).

5. Find an environment or place where you are not easily distracted and move out of your comfort zone.

Self Displine

What is self discipline?

Self-discipline is the ability to push yourself forward, stay motivated, and take action, regardless of how you’re feeling, physically or emotionally. You are showing it when you intentionally choose to pursue something better for yourself, and you do it in spite of factors like distractions, hard work, or unfavorable odds.

Discipline is about getting it done because it needs to be done.

The center of bringing a dream to fruition is self-discipline. It’s getting command of your mind and be able to choose actions that are in your best interest.

Discipline isn’t punishment, it is the definition of self-love because you have a behavior towards yourself that is loving and you want the best for yourself. Don’t allow people to determine you feel and think.

When motivation dies, you can let discipline take its place. If we do not discipline ourselves the world will do it most harshly. Do whatever you can to be the best version of yourself. Remember what you do today can change your life tomorrow. Days turn into months and months into years, so be aware of what you spend your time on.

Be all that you can be and don’t let habits. drag you down from the full development of what you can have and are capable of having.

7 Ways to level up in your 20’s

1.Be Disciplined

Discipline is the glue that brings all these things I’m about to mention together.Be committed to putting in the work or nothing will get done. You must be willing to sacrifice some things to achieve your goals.

2. Plan Everything

If you fail to plan then plan to fail. Get a diary to write down list of things you plan to achieve for the day, it helps achieve your goals.

3. Educate Yourself

Google is free!!!! And also read more books on new things you’d like to learn, I will also suggest audiobooks or podcasts while you walking, driving, doing chores etc

4. Mind the Business that pays you

Spend your time on something that will benefit you and stay out of people’s business. Try not to think about what someone else will think about you when you want to try out something.

5. Invest in yourself

Look the part, Know your part, Be the part and Dress the part. You should write down your long term plans or learn a new skill. Take care of your personal hygiene, skin and how you smell.

6. Learn how to budget

Don’t overspend, learn how to budget and save money. That’s where discipline comes in, saving for the next era while achieving your goals.

7. Pick your friends Carefully

People you spend your time around or your friends determine how you end up. It does get harder to make friends as we grow older but make sure to choose friends who have similar goals, values, etc. Don’t feel forced to keep the same friends forever, if it’s not working out don’t force it.
